My husband and I had an inspection done by this company in the southwest area of Pennsylvania, and they are not professional from beginning to end. Even when you first call to set up the appointment, the woman on the phone was rude, but my husband insisted that we use them, because the agent had their name at the top of the list. I emailed the owner who did the inspection to ask a simple question after the inspection was done, but he never... Read more

We had a home inspection done today. We were very impressed with the thoroughness of the inspector. We discovered problems and repairs that we missed on our first visit to the condo. Thanks to Paul for helping us make a wise decision about our purchase. The cost for his work was worth every dollar. Richard

If you are in GA do not waste your time or money with Jason Rowland with Rowland Inspections branch in COVINGTON GA he is not fit to be doing home inspections. When you are buying or selling a house life is stressful enough but then when you have people who you are supposed to be able to trust taking advantage of you and your money it makes it even worse. He put false claims about our home for sale on the report, when they inspected our home the... Read more

Gabi and her assistant were friendly and professional, but the home inspection was not worth the insane $700 price tag. It was not as thorough as I have had from other companies in the past and most of the items noted in the report were things I could have found with my own two eyes. The largest items in the house (heat, AC and plumbing) were not checked in the first visit and I was given excuses instead of insight on how to get the items... Read more

My home was "inspected" by Pillar to Post on behalf of an unsuspecting buyer. They said the master bedroom lights didn't work; they're on a remote that the inspector didn't use. I had told him about the remote. Said flood lights for our back yard were bad; actually he couldn't find the switch. Said sump was installed wrong; he didn't see the foundation drain or the drain to the outside. Inspector ran the faucet in our garage and got our moving... Read more

Pillar To Post Home Inspections, worst home inspection company EVER. I did an inspection in 2009 with Pillar to Post Home Inspections before purchasing a waterfront apartment in Miami Fl. The property passed the test with flying colors. I was living abroad at the time. On the day that I moved in I found out that the air conditioning was not cooling. It was only blowing air. Only the fan was working. Their negligence cost me around three thousand... Read more

We hired them to inspect our house we where buying he took a few hours I thought he knew what he was doing. After hours he gave me a report that said pretty much that he could not inspect some things due to different reasons. I will talk about two. The heater was not checked because it was to hot outside thats bull. The roof I was told needed to be replaced now it was very bad. I then called two roof companies that came out while the inspector... Read more

Pillar to Post inspected my soon to be home in Franklin, Tn. Their report indicates the HVAC unit is operational. Upon closing we found the unit was not operational, nor did appear to have been operational for some time. Pillar to Post then cited multiple disclaimers in their inspection report and agreement. The disclaimers are certainly all in place as duly cited by their local operators and essentially render Pillar to Post useless. Per... Read more

The inspector missed an obvious problem under our house. Sub floor soft and black. We called 3 different people that specializes in repair to bathroom damage due to constant leaking. They all agree the inspector should have caught the problem and had he done that, we could have negotiated with the sellers. Our estimated cost to repair our bathroom is close to $8000.00. The company refuses responsibility and leaving us to take legal actions. To... Read more

Paul Grise, did the inspection on the house we are selling, it was a done deal, until the buyers decided to do an inspection on our manufactured home. It seemed at first that he was thorough and professional, but when the report came out the buyers (having already signed the paperwork to buy) backed out immediately. Paul did not ask any questions about anything as to why things where how they were etc. He flat out lied and said we denied him... Read more
